In the next couple of weeks, Aarhus will be the place to be. Apart from the 1,400 athletes, trainers and reporters from around the world, many guests will be visiting our lovely city. In order to make room for everyone, we urge our guests to leave their cars at home and make use of public transportation instead as well as our free shuttle busses and solar-powered shuttle ferry.
No driving or parking at Aarhus Ø
During the Worlds, it will not be possible to drive your car at Aarhus Ø – only for people who live there. The rules have been made by the authorities in order to make sure that the area is used in the best possible way – and of course with regard to safety.
If you choose to go to Aarhus by car, you can park it at various parking spaces in the city:
Getting around during the Worlds will be easy. There are shuttle busses from Aarhus Rutebilstation and Navitas to Aarhus international Sailing Centre at Aarhus Ø. If you are at the yachting harbour, you can catch the shuttle ferry to the sailing centre.
